Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pourfoli (“Pourfoli,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pourfoli mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider). We also store the username and display name you choose at sign-up.

Profile information

You may optionally add profile details such as a bio, profile photo, location, place of work, website, craft experience, and social media links. This information is displayed on your public profile within the app.

Content you create

We store the content you create in the app, including cocktail recipes, photos, menus, saved batches, costings, event plans, and your tool preferences. Recipes and menus you mark as public — and menus you publish to a shareable link — are visible to others; drafts and private content are not.

Photos

Photos you upload (for recipes or your profile) are stored in our media storage. Photos attached to public content are publicly accessible via their link.

Waitlist

If you join our pre-launch waitlist on this website, we store the email address you provide solely to notify you about the launch.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• To display your profile and content according to your visibility settings;
• To render shared and published menus at their public links;
• To communicate with you about the Service, including launch updates if you joined the waitlist;
• To comply with legal obligations.

How your information is stored and shared

We use Supabaseas our backend provider for authentication, database, and file storage. Your data is processed and stored on Supabase’s infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties except: (a) service providers who help us operate the Service (such as Supabase); (b) when you make content public; or (c) when required by law.

If we introduce paid subscriptions in the future, payments and subscription status would be handled by the relevant app-store and billing providers (for example, Apple, Google, or RevenueCat), subject to their own privacy policies. We will update this policy before enabling any such feature.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, which permanently removes your account and associated content. You can also request deletion via our account deletion page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@pourfoli.com.

Children

The Service is intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
